Sprachreise der 5AHLEL nach Leeds
Our week in Leeds with the 5AHLEL was a lively blend of learning, culture, and everyday British life. The city offered a mix of Victorian buildings, modern centres, and a welcoming atmosphere that made walking through its streets enjoyable. Each morning we attended our language course at CES, where the lessons were interactive and helped everyone gain confidence in speaking English.
A special part of the trip was experiencing traditional pubs and local food. Students tried classic dishes such as fish and chips or pies, and the relaxed pub culture gave us a glimpse of typical British social life.
Our day trip to Liverpool was another highlight. The Beatles Story showed how the band shaped modern music and included fascinating memorabilia. Back in Leeds, the Thackray Medical Museum brought medical history to life, while the Royal Armouries impressed us with its vast international collections. Altogether, it was a memorable and enriching journey.
